Ombrophobia

Ombrophobia is the fear of rain. This also includes the fear of storms and thunderstorms. 
The word ombrophobia comes from two words from the ancient Greek:
“Ombros” which means “water” or “storm of rain” and “phobos” that means “fear”. Fear of rain and fear of water should not be confused. The fear of rain is manifested by the fear of the noise that this one makes by falling on objects.  This fear can sometimes extend to the fear of clouds or wind.
 The causes of this fear are very unknown and unexplained.

The smartest will have understood it already , but for the others in hippopotomonstrosesquipedalophobia, there's phobia, which means fear. In addition, hippopoto derivated fro hippopotamus, monstruousus which means gigantic and sesquipedalian, which stands for the long words. The meaning is so simple... The fear of big words!
